The Institute considers sponsoring a wide range of studies that inform clinical and policy areas.
This includes qualitative, quantitative, clinical trials, observational studies, prospective, and retrospective studies. We prioritize research which seeks to improve the future of home care delivery through payment and delivery reform, patient-and person-centered care, technology, the home care workforce, and clinical innovation.
Advancing Care Through Research and Innovation
As the only foundation solely dedicated to building the evidence-base for home health care, the Institute funds high-quality research and initiatives to improve patient care and inform policy development, as well as demonstrate the full value of care in the home to payers, providers, policymakers, and patients. In identifying and funding new and crucial areas of study, the Institute is paving the way in establishing a solid and vitally important evidence base in home care.
